He selects only the best Portuguese cork for the handle grip, then shapes it to fit your hand and needs, Ultra-fine, Full Wells, or the unique Saltwater Unigrip. The guides are the best in the industry - Hopkins & Holloway, Fuji, or his own custom guides from Batson. Before wrapping, the feet are carefully hand ground to a fine taper to allow the thread wraps to merge from blank to guide perfectly. This makes his ultra thin epoxy coating all the more striking.

The rods are wrapped in gold or silver wire trim for the thread wraps, and a reel seat is chosen to match the design. Your custom rod will be fitted with the correct Rio fly line to properly load your rod. Rio is the industry leader in specialty fly lines, and if Rio doesn't make it, you don't need it. If Anderson Custom Rods doesn't have it in stock, they will get it for you - just in time!
Anderson Custom Rods carry a lifetime no-fault warranty. There is a flat fee of $50 to repair any tip or mid-section, and $75 for any butt section, plus return shipping. All rods are shipped in a protective cloth bag and metal tube. |
